NMDOT lists metro road work

Several new and ongoing projects will affect traffic on state-managed roads in the Albuquerque area during upcoming week, the New Mexico Department of Transportation reports.

Monday

  • I-25 frontage road northbound at Jefferson Street – Right lane closed 9-11 a.m. to replace light pole.

Wednesday

  • I-40 eastbound mile markers 136-137 west of Rio Puerco – Right lane closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for pavement repair

All week

  • I-25 both directions from 3 miles south of Belen to south of Bernardo exit – Moving 2-mile lanes closures during the day and overnight for pavement rehab.
  • I-40 both directions between Coors and Unser exits – Landscaping work in median 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.  Contractor trucks entering and exiting work zone.
  • I-40 westbound Rio Puerco bridge west of Albuquerque -Right lane closed 7 a.m.-4 p.m. for bridge maintenance
