A crash involving several vehicles on eastbound I-40 has blocked the right shoulder and one lane approaching Louisiana Boulevard.

The crash happened about 3:30 p.m.

Update 4:10 p.m.:  Some of the crashed vehicles have been removed, and the right lane is again open.  The right shoulder remains blocked.
