Update: Deputy involved in accident

A Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in an accident at Coors and Alameda in northwest Albuquerque around 7:30 p.m. Monday night.
The Deputy was rear ended by another driver according to Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Jennifer Vega-Brown.
The Deputy was transported to a local hospital with minor neck and back pain.

If I had been a split second later turning into the parking lot, I would have caught the Deputy’s cruiser in my back seat.
How is the other driver? I didn’t hear any tires squealing before the crash, which made me wonder. It didn’t help when I saw that the intersection is still closed down and the cars haven’t been moved an hour and a half later…
