Motorcycle accident in northwest Albuquerque

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a motorcycle accident that may go fatal.
APD Officer Robert Gibbs tells News 13 that the motorcycle rider lost control and crashed his bike near Coors and Winterhaven in northwest Albuquerque.
The motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet and did have a serious head injury.
He was transported to University of New Mexico Hospital in very serious condition.
