One of the handful of World War II B-17 bombers still flying is in Albuquerque for a week and is parked at Double Eagle II Airport.

A ride in the vintage craft costs $460, but taking a look at it is free.

News 13 reporter Scott Daniels and photographer Kevin Dermody flew over the city in the plane Friday afternoon for a report to air this weekend.  They also interviewed at 93-year-old veteran who trained B-17 pilots in Roswell during the war.
